Our Organization:
CSID – Centre of Sustainable and Integrated Design is a non-profit organization dedicated to designing and building sustainable cities and communities while maintaining the coordinated development of environment and culture. We focus on low-impact development, green infrastructure design and implementation, and research on green building design, based on the concept of ecological urbanism.
CSID is a high level academic and research centre located in Great Toronto Area, Canada. Our principle is to help our environment to be Low Carbon, Low Waste, Green and Sustainable. Our research teams are specialized in Ecological Integrated Plan and Design, Green Building and Sustainable Design, including Landscape Architects, Architects, Ecological and Environmental Engineers. We are also corporate with universities on the joint research programs. We have founded the Winter City Sustainable and Integrated Corporation Research Centre in Harbin Institute of Technology, China.
At the same time, we also actively promote international exchanges of cultural and artistic activities, as well as the integration of culture and art into sustainable development, especially in winter cities. We have established Global Ice Snow Art Program and promoted Ice Snow Festival in some cities of Canada.
Jan. 2018, Organized and Participated 2019 Harbin International Youths Ice Sculpture Competition and achieved Gold Prize

加拿大可持续城市与文化研究中心 CSID， 是一所致力于设计与构建可持续城市与社区，促进环境与文化艺术协调发展的非营利机构。是位于加拿大多伦多的高水平学术与研究机构。本中心致力于研究与改善环境，低碳，环保，绿色与可持续的原则与目标。我们专注于城市的低强度开发，生态基础设施建设，生态都市主义和绿色建筑的学术性课题研究。
CSID的研究团队来自于景观建筑学、建筑学、生态工程学与环境工程学，具有丰富的生态整体规划与设计、绿色建筑与可持续设计方面的经验，立足于政府规划，城市建设，土地开发，绿色环境等课题研究。研究中心还致力于深入中国与加拿大的一流专业院校进行学术交流与研究合作，我们已经与中国的哈尔滨工业大学共同建立了“哈工大寒地生态与和持续国际合作研究中心”。同时，CSID负责人还担负着众多中加两国相关项目的主创与项目组组长的工作。
同时，CSID也积极推动各项相关的文化艺术类活动和国际间交流，尤其是冬季城市的冰雪文化和艺术，促进寒地城市环境与文化生活的相互融合。我们机构已经建立了国际冰雪艺术项目组，联合哈尔滨冰灯博览会共同创建每年在哈尔滨国际冰雪节之际展开的“哈尔滨国际青少年冰雕比赛”，并将哈尔滨冰雪节项目引入加拿大冬季城市。
2018年1月，带领加拿大寻根冰雕队赴哈尔滨参加“哈尔滨国际青少年冰雕比赛”，并获得团体一等奖
2019年1月，随加拿大万锦市政府代表团访问哈尔滨，并带队加拿大寻根冰雕队赴哈尔滨参加“哈尔滨国际青少年冰雕比赛”
2019年2月，作为主办方，在万锦市政府和哈尔滨市政府支持下举办“第一届万锦冰雪节”
